Asian Forum of Legislative Information Affairs "Together for the AFOLIA, United for ASIA" was selected as the grand-prize winning slogan at the 2nd Asian Forum of Legislative Information Affairs slogan contest. 지난 한 달 동안 실시 된 제2회 아시아법제포럼 개최 기념표어 공모전에서 ‘함께하는 AFOLIA! 하나되는 ASIA!'가 대상으로 선정되었다. Over 1,000 entries were submitted in the slogan contest, and after the review process, the evaluating committee selected the grand-prize winning entry "Together for the AFOLIA, United for ASIA," the first runner-up entry, "Dream of the Advanced Asian Legislation, AFOLIA," the second runner-up entry, "The Hub of Advanced Legislation, AFOLIA" respectively. 이번 공모전에는 총 1,000건이 넘는 기념표어가 제출되었고, 위원회의 심사 결과 ‘함께하는 AFOLIA! 하나되는 ASIA!'가 대상, ’아시아 선진법제의 꿈, AFOLIA'가 최우수상, ‘The Hub of Advanced Legisslation, AFOLIA'가 우수상으로 선정되었다. The winning slogans will be used to raise public awareness and promote the vision of the upcoming 2nd Forum of Legislative Information Affairs. They will be also displayed and featured at the Forum. 이번 수상작은 향후 아시아법제포럼 홍보에 활용하고, 제2회 아시아법제포럼 행사 기간 중 전시될 예정이다.

	The Minister of Government Legislation paid a visit to China to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Korea-China legislative exchanges. The Minister of Government Legislation, Jeong Sun-tae paid a visit to China from 15 May to 17 May to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Korea-China diplomatic relations and commemorate the 10th anniversary of Korea-China legislative exchanges, at the invitation of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council P.R. China and China University of Political Science and Law. 정선태 법제처장은 한·중 수교 20주년 및 한·중 법제교류 10주년을 기념하여 중국 국무원 법제판공실과 정법대학의 초청으로 5월 15일부터 17일까지 중국을 방문하였다. During the visit, he met with Director of Legislative Affairs Office, Mr. Song Dahan and discussed specific steps to build up cooperative systems between the two government legislative institutions concerning Korea-China FTA and how to steer the Forum in a more constructive direction including China's hosting the 3rd Asian Forum of Legislative Information Affairs. 이번 방문에서 법제판공실 송대함 주임을 만나 한·중 FTA 관련 양국 법제기관 간 협조 체계 구축 방안과 제3회 아시아법제포럼의 중국 개최 방안 등 아시아법제포럼의 발전 방향에 대해 논의하였다. He also met Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress, Li Fei and discussed steps to advance legislative systems of the two countries, and called for China's interest and active participation in the 2nd Asian Forum of Legislative Information Affairs. 그리고 전국인민대표대회 법제공작위원회의 이적시 주임을 만나 양국의 법제도 선진화 방안에 대해 논의하고 제2회 아시아법제포럼에 대한 관심과 참여를 요청하였다. During the visiting period, he attended the academic seminar on Korea-China FTA hosted by China University of Political Science and Law and the Korean embassy in China. He concluded the MOU with China University of Political Science and Law. 또한 방문 기간 중 정법대학과 주중 대한민국 대사관이 공동으로 주최하는 한·중 FTA 관련 학술 세미나에 참석하고, 인민대와의 MOU를 체결하였다.

World Recent Legislative Affairs Trend(세계 각국의 최신 법제 동향) Ⅰ ▨ Venezuela, President Hugo Chavez promulgated the amended Labour Act 베네수엘라 차베스 대통령, 개정노동법 공포 2012.05.01 Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez on Monday promulgated the amended Labour Act (LOTTT), which the government considers "historic," but that comes loaded with controversy over how it was approved. 우고 차베스(Hugo Chavez) 베네수엘라 대통령은 4월 30일, 개정노동법(LOTTT)을 공포했다. 정부는 이에 대해 ‘역사적인 사건’이라고 평가하고 있지만 이 법의 승인 절차의 정당성에 대한 논쟁이 그치지 않고 있다. President Chávez said he would not give the details, but explained the newly amended parts. 차베스 대통령은 구체적인 사항은 언급하지 않았으나 새로이 도입된 내용을 설명했다. According to him, working hours are reduced from 44 to 40 hours per week, with a requirement for two consecutive days of rest. Maternity leave will be extended from three months to six months and compensation for unfair dismissal will double the current one. This Act has yet to receive approval from the Supreme Court. 그에 따르면 주간 노동시간이 44시간에서 40시간으로 단축되며 주당 2일 연속하여 휴무해야 한다. 그리고 출산휴가 기간이 3개월에서 6개월 반으로 확대되며 부당해고에 대한 보상은 현행의 2배로 늘어난다. 이 법은 대법원의 승인 절차를 남겨두고 있다. Although the government stated that over the last a couple of months, it had been debated by the Presidential Committee comprised of members from various social sectors, it still remain controversial. Professor Jose Vicente Carrasquero criticized that this new act lacks the appropriate consultation processing and the participation of entrepreneurs or opposition parties. 정부는 지난 수개월 동안 사회 다양한 부문으로 구성된 대통령위원회가 법안에 대한 논의를 진행해왔다고 주장하지만 이에 대한 논란이 끊이지 않고 있다. 호세 비센테 카라스케로(José Vicente Carrasquero) 시몬볼리바르대학 교수는, 이 법이 제대로된 논의과정을 거치지 않았으며 경제인들이나 야권의 참여도 부재했다고 비판했다. World Recent Legislative Affairs Trend(세계 각국의 최신 법제 동향) Ⅱ ▨ Argentina, The Senate Passed the Death with Dignity Act 아르헨티나, ‘존엄사법’ 상원 통과 2012.05.09 The Senate passed the Death with Dignity Act, which allows patients and families to limit therapeutic efforts. 환자와 그의 가족들이 환자의 생애 말기 치료 제한에 대해 결정할 수 있도록 하는 ‘존엄사법’이 상원을 통과했다. The Act was passed with a vote of 55 in favor, 0 against, and 17 abstaining. 이 법은 찬성 55표, 반대 0표, 부재 17표로 통과되었다. It was also approved by the House of Representatives and stipulates the right to accept or reject certain therapies or medical processes, regardless of whether the ground is presented as well as the right to subsequently withdraw opinions. 이 법은 현재 하원에서도 통과되었으며, 이유의 표명 여부와 관계없이 특정 치료나 의학적 절차를 거부하거나 수락하는 권리, 그리고 이후에 의사표현을 철회할 수 있는 권리에 대해 명시하고 있다. The Death with Dignity Act has been controversial in Argentina. Camila Sanchez, who was born in a persistent vegetative state, turned 3 a few days ago. His mother, Selva Herbon, led a campaign for this Act. The intent of this woman is to end the agony of his daughter. 존엄사법 제정과 관련하여 아르헨티나 국내에서도 많은 논란이 있어왔다. 태어나면서부터 영구식물인간 상태에 있는 카밀라 산체스(Camila Sánchez)는 몇일 전 세살이 되었다. 카밀라의 어머니인 셀바 에르본(Selva Herbon)씨는 딸이 더 이상 고통을 당하게 하고싶지 않다며 존엄사법 제정을 위해 캠페인을 벌여왔다. The mother of former vocalist and leader of Soda Stereo, the Argentine musician Gustavo Cerati who lapsed into a coma after cerebrovascular accident two years ago, Lilian Clark, turned down the possibility of death with dignity saying that her son still responds to specific stimulus. 그런가하면 2년 전 뇌혈관사고를 당한 이후 혼수상태에 빠진 그룹 소다 스테레오(Soda Stereo)의 보컬리스트 구스타보 세라티(Gustavo Cerati)의 어머니인 릴리안 클라크(lilian Clark)씨는 자신의 아들이 여전히 특정 자극에 대해 반응하고 있다며 존엄사 가능성에 대해 일축했다.
